CARMEL, Maine — Interstate ninety five was shut down to northbound travel inbetween Newport and Bangor for more than four hours Wednesday after a crash involving more than seventy vehicles occurred on the slimy highway, according to Maine State Police.

At least seventeen people were taken to Bangor hospitals, according to officials at the medical facilities. Continue reading →
