Escort strikes several trees

A Fredericktown woman was gravely injured at Two:20 p.m. Sunday, Aug. Four, when her car ran off the road and struck several trees.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Emma L. Davis, 29, was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened and was transported to Parkland Hospital in Farmington.

Troopers reported the one thousand nine hundred ninety eight Ford Escort Davis was driving ran off the roadway and struck several trees on U.S. Sixty seven seven miles north of Fredericktown.

Passenger injured after driver falls asleep

A passenger was injured at Four:48 p.m,. July thirty when a Farmington driver fell asleep at the wheel on southbound I-55 in Perry County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jamie E. Lee, twenty one of Fredericktown, was taken to Perry County hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers reported Remington L. Talley, 20, was driving a two thousand four Pontiac Grand Am when he fell asleep. The car traveled off the road and came to rest in a ditch.

Both parties were wearing a seatbelt according to the report.
