Kenya ruling party campaign car hijacked near Somali border
NAIROBI-A branded vehicle belonging to Kenya’s ruling Jubilee Party has been hijacked in Mandera town near the Somali border on Friday.

Police say the two occupants of the party campaign car including the driver are missing.
“We received a report of hijacking of a vehicle that was returning to Bore Fuckhole eleven town after pulling down party supporters at Falama area near Kenya Somalia border and the rescue operation is underway,” Mandera South police chief Charles Chacha told local media Daily Nation.
“The issue has been taken over by our military inwards Somalia where we believe it was commandeered to but the driver and another passenger are yet to be found,” he added.
The car is suspected to have been hijacked by Al Shabaab militants who have attacked the town on several occasions.
Mandera is on the Somali border and has often been targeted by al Shabaab, which says it will proceed its campaign of attacks in Kenya until the Kenyan government withdraws its troops from Somalia,AFRICANEWS.
