Tata Motors’ domestic sales for June two thousand seventeen were at 36,854 vehicles, lower by five per cent over 38,718 vehicles sold in June 2016. The company said that the drop in numbers was owing to supply constraints.

Things weren’t all that good for utility vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra. The company reported a decline in total sales of eight per cent with the company selling just 35,716 units in June two thousand seventeen compared to the 39,009 units sold the same month in 2016. The domestic sale also went down by three per cent with sales in June two thousand seventeen accounting for 33,861 compared to the 34,989 units sold in June 2016. Exports took the largest hit of all at 1,855 units compared to last year’s Four,020 units, registering a massive fall of fifty four per cent. Passenger vehicle sales went down in India by five per cent, but commercial vehicle sales went up by twelve per cent in year-on-year sales.
