Final moments of police pursue following carjacking captured on camera
Updated: Dec 14, two thousand sixteen – 11:20 AM
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is in custody and police are searching for another following a carjacking that led to a police pursue Tuesday in west Charlotte, police said.
The carjacking victim said he was robbed at gunpoint on Caronia Street before the suspects took his vehicle.
An hour later, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spotted the vehicle that fled, which began the pursuit.
The people inwards the vehicle hopped and ran once they crashed on Dual Oaks Road.
The crash was captured on a neighbor’s home security camera.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities search for the person they said ran from the vehicle.
